There’s just something about Sundays that makes me want to be lazy. I don’t want to clean, cook or be productive in any way. I want to relax on the couch with a good book, doze off, and eat snacks all day long. All day. Nothing wrong with that, right?
We are going for a healthy stroll at some point. But, I do love to take Sundays as my rest days from hardcore (HC) working out. It is imperative to let your body recuperate from all your hard workouts throughout the week. The great thing about Sundays is that if you decide to exercise it doesn’t have to be a high energy workout or exerting a balls-to-the-walls fitness level. If you happen to get out there and do some form of exercise, good for you! If you have a running watch, like a Garmin or the cheaper one I have, the Nike +, don’t even wear it! Let Sunday be your day to enjoy the outside, the weather, and not focus upon your pace, distance, time, etc.
