I have been on a french toast (FT) kick for the last few days. There is nothing like a soft, sweet and salty piece of french toast dredged in all types of goodness. What I love about FT is you can put all types of flavors in the mix and it still turns out scrumptious. Don’t be scared to try anything in your pantry. Well, not anything. 🙂

I crushed up these Annie’s Homegrown Cocoa & Vanilla Bunnies and dredged my bread through egg, milk and peanut butter first. Then, I followed up by dipping the soaked bread in the crushed up bunnies. Adding a handful of cereal to this dish gave the toast a nice, crunchy texture. Pineapple, strawberries, agave syrup and a sprinkle of powdered sugar are also in the mix.
Hopefully you don’t feel like Athena today…
