The forecast is calling for questionable rain throughout the first part of the week. With that being said, do you run/exercise in the rain?
Last week, Tiff and I planned a workout in the beginning of the week and when the day came it was drizzling and then raining when it was time for our workout. I think we both looked at each other like, well…what do we do? We bit the bullet and put our big girl panties on. That’s what we did. I mean, really what harm is there in running in the rain? It wasn’t thundering or lightening, so we safe from that harm.
To be honest with you, once we were out there running and doing high-intensity type drills, I felt an overwhelming feeling of peacefulness. There was something about the rain that made me feel like I am capable of anything. It gave us motivation to keep going and help us to know life brings about many, many hurdles, but if you face them head on you are much more likely to make the jump.
