Morning and happy middle of the week day. I have a little ritual where around 9 or 9:30 each morning I eat a snack. It usually includes almonds and a clementine or some of piece of fruit. I have been eating the almonds for years now. I needed a change.
I picked up honey roasted soy nuts, almonds, sunflower seeds, dried blueberries and yogurt covered raisins. I mixed them all up and there ya have it, your own trail mix. I love trail mix and even buy it pre-made from the store from time to time. There usually is one item in the mix I don’t love. Making your own trail mix allows for every ingredients to be one you will eat! Today is a not-so-hectic day and I am able to cook dinner, maybe a dessert and squeeze in some exercise.
