Like it, love it, want more of it – September

Posted on

Last month I started a new monthly posting about things I am enjoying in the here and now. I figure, “being filled up” is more than just food. It’s about the small pleasures in life that fill you up, too. Whether it be a new pair of shoes, an awesome workout or a favorite find on the Internet, all of those things make me a bit more filled up.

What makes you filled up? Anything in particular this month?

Maybe some of my favorites will be yours, too!

Favorites of the Month

Favorite Nonalcoholic Drink: Pumpkin Spice Autumn Spiced Tea

I love the fall season and I love fall drinks – alcoholic or not – fall drinks are the bomb (yup, I just said that). This tea is the perfect AM cup to enjoy when it’s cool and crisp outside. Give it a try!

Favorite Alcohol Drink: Seasonal/Pumpkin Beers

Now we get to the more serious stuff. The alcoholic drinks. I’m not much of a beer drinker, because I love wine! But, I happened to pick up a few seasonal beers when I was at the store a few weeks ago and I have been hooked ever since. I even went to a 6-pack specialty store this weekend and did some seasonal beer tasting all by myself. Yes, I made friends with Dave, the seasonal beer specialist. I want to take Dave with me next time I am fall beer shopping to be my personal helper! Ok, onto the next one…

Favorite Find from Etsy: Necklace

five leaf branch with cherry quartz lariat necklace, gift, sterling silver, chic, casual, modern

I saw this necklace as I was perusing Etsy and immediately thought of it as a perfect gift to give to my girlfriend, Tiffani, who just turned 31. I mean, 21. Right, 21. I loved it so much, I got it in coral and in turquoise. Whoops, guess it’s a belated birthday gift for myself, too.

Favorite Inspirational Quote: from Pinterest

I will just leave you with that…

Favorite Idea: from Pinterest

I enjoy making my own cleaning supplies and have done it with vinegar, baking soda, essential oils and water. This cleaning product calls for soaking orange peels in vinegar for two weeks in a sealed mason jar. Then, pour the vinegar into a spray bottle. This is so easy and will help you to create a green environment for your home! You can do it, too!

Favorite Workout: Pyramid HIT Workouts

Favorite Recipe made this Month: Chocolate & Peanut Butter Layered Cake

Favorite find that just might be out of my budget: Madewell Boots

Love the color, love the heel, love the toe, love, love, love. Love everything but the price.

So, I leave with that! What are the things you are loving this month?

Tell me more!
