Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

Posted on

If you are thinking about making a pumpkin pie this weekend, but don’t have the time or energy, make a pumpkin pie smoothie instead! This smoothie I made for my girlfriend, Maisie, last Wednesday and it was so good, I had to make it again this morning and blog about it immediately! Lucky you, right?

This “recipe” which is nothing more than throwing ingredients in the blender and making a smoothie, tastes just like pumpkin pie! I think it’s the oats that help it to have that crust flavor. Not only does it taste like pie, but the smoothie is very easy to tweak. If you want the smoothie to be creamier add more almond milk, if you want it to be more hearty and thick, add more oats. It’s just that simple…So what’s your favorite recipe this fall? Please share, so I can continue on my spree of making seasonal recipes

Cinnamon & Brown Sugar Pumpkin Donuts

Posted on

It’s another fall recipe for all the befilledup readers! Ready, set, go…

The reason I was so excited to make these pumpkin donut holes was because every time I step foot in Dunkin’ Donuts, I ponder about getting a donut with my coffee. I try to squash the idea quickly because every time I eat a donut from Dunkin’ Donuts, although they are delicious, I get really bad indigestion and heartburn. To be quite honest, they make me burp. I love the little fried donut holes but they don’t seem to love me! I made these Cinnamon and Brown Sugar Pumpkin Donuts to help my Dunkin’ Donuts craving. Let me just tell you, they hit the spot. They hit the nail on the head to be exact with their delicious pumpkin taste, with their moist centers, and with their perfect fall feeling they give you once you pop one! Maybe these could be something to make for your family or loved one this weekend. They will “love you long time.”

Creamy Pumpkin & Black Bean Soup

I was introduced to this perfect fall soup from my girlfriend, Maisie, who was introduced to it through her mom. I’m assuming her mom was introduced to it through Rachel Ray and the Food Network. It’s not one of those generation to generation recipes that is passed down along the family but it is tasty enough to pass it on to anyone you know who likes soup!

This creamy pumpkin soup is a-w-e-s-o-m-e, yes do a little cheer while making or eating this soup! This soup is perfect for someone who has limited time to make dinner and wants it done lick-ity split. It’s also perfect for anyone who loves eating pumpkin in the fall. I do, I do!

Please tell me what you are making these days that involves pumpkin?

Tell me I’m not the only food blogger out there bangin’ out recipe after recipe that has pumpkin and butternut squash in it…
