Like it, love it, want more of it – September

Last month I started a new monthly posting about things I am enjoying in the here and now. I figure, “being filled up” is more than just food. It’s about the small pleasures in life that fill you up, too. Whether it be a new pair of shoes, an awesome workout or a favorite find on the Internet, all of those things make me a bit more filled up.

What makes you filled up? Anything in particular this month?

Perfect Pecan Pumpkin Muffins

On Wednesday I shared a great fall dinner dish with you: Butternut Squash Mac N’ Cheese. Well, today we move onto a great fall dessert I would like to share with you. Honestly, with the sugar reduced in these muffins, you could go ahead and pop one for breakfast. You don’t even need to place these into the dessert category. There would be no shame in your game if you did something of the sort and just let me know how it worked out for you…

Butternut Squash Mac N’ Cheese

It’s fall ya’ll and the seasonal recipes will be flowing through befilledup as we speak! Get excited! I absolutely love the fall season for all the reasons everyone else does: crisp weather, pumpkin picking, apple picking, pumpkin recipes, pumpkin coffee and tea, pumpkin candles, Halloween, and many, many more fall-ish things! What’s your favorite season? I think fall definitely wins for me but I do love me some summer time, too. Will Smith and I would get along well, I just know it.

So what fall recipe are you dying to make this year? I can say this was one I was looking forward to and was happy with the outcome! Again, I know you have heard me say this many of times, but Joe claims to not like butternut squash – he just thinks it’s weird – but he sure didn’t mind it in this dish…
